“..just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him….” Col 2:6-7
Welcome To The Journey
…the journey we call “Biblical Counseling.” I am confident that the answers to life’s problems and questions lie within the pages of God’s Word, the Bible, and that God will bless and empower you if you choose to follow through on this journey. The Bible is superior to any other source of counsel. It is my goal, therefore, to bring God’s answers practically to shine upon the difficulties you are facing.
Firmly Rooted Biblical Counseling
What is Biblical Counseling
In a nutshell, Biblical Counseling evaluates your experience and problems through a spiritual lens. It asks the question “WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT IT?” and “HOW SHOULD YOU RESPOND?” Hebrews 4:12”…the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
What is the Goal of Biblical Counseling
The goal is HEART CHANGE and SPIRITUAL GROWTH & MATURITY. Biblical counselling is not about being happy or changing your circumstances. It is targeted discipleship which focuses on a change of heart grounded and rooted in God’s Word as our guide. We believe that God's word has all you need for the answers to life’s problems. II Timothy 3:16-17 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
